Julia Loder

Head of Regulation

Julia has extensive experience in Financial Market Regulation, acquired in roles at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the European Commission Office in the US and as an EU policy consultant in Brussels. In addition, she is a qualified and registered General Securities Representative (SIE 7) in the United States.

In her previous roles Julia worked extensively on MiFID II and the development of the UK’s trading and wholesale conduct policy as well as on the implications of Brexit on UK financial market regulation. Furthermore, Julia is experienced in collaborating with EU and other overseas policy makers and international organisations for the development of financial policy and regulation.

Julia holds a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau in Germany, and a MSc in Quantitative Finance from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
